Handbags sewn from vintage seed sacks and grain bags. Jewelry forged from reclaimed brass and copper. Every piece carries a story older than any of us.
Browse the CollectionMade from a 1940s Purina feed sack with hand-dyed leather straps and solid brass hardware.
Full-size tote from a printed cotton seed bag, lined with ticking stripe and riveted leather handles.
Hammered copper cuff paired with drop earrings made from flattened brass grommets found in a barn cleanout.
Every bag starts with a piece of history. We source our seed sacks from estate sales, barn cleanouts, and antique dealers across the rural Midwest. Most date from the 1930s through the 1960s, when feed and flour companies printed bold, colourful graphics on cotton and burlap to encourage farmers' wives to reuse the fabric.
The leather is vegetable-tanned cowhide from a fourth-generation tannery in Ohio. Hardware comes from a mix of new solid brass fittings and salvaged pieces cleaned, polished, and repurposed.
